Prof. Miguel Castillo OsunaStarted by Isaac and Francis Chagoya in 2009, the Prof. Miguel Castillo Osuna school offers an academically rigorous, Christian education to students in or around the mountainous region of Tesopaco, Sonora Mexico. The couple’s goal is to offer students an educational experience comparable to that of institutions in more urban areas of the country—giving graduates of Miguel Castillo Osuna the ability to pursue higher education or be successful in their field of choice.
Academically Rigorous To give students an advantage when applying to university programs, the administration at Miguel Castillo Osuna has developed a variety of math, science, and computer-based learning opportunities for students to experience. The programs include robotics, drone training, virtual reality learning, comprehensive computer repair, and experiments with 3D printing technology. These, and other academically rigorous, technology-based learning experiences like them, encourage students to excel in a diverse number of areas, along with preparing them adequately for their experiences after high school.
Faith-basedAn education at Miguel Castillo Osuna is not only focused on academic achievement, but also emphasizes faith-based learning. Each day students attend a Bible class where they learn and grow in their Christian faith through prayer and worship. Community outreach and service opportunities also play a large role in developing graduates who are trained to become the next leaders of their communities.
Affordable Students at Miguel Castillo Osuna pay a small tuition fee each year to cover basic expenses such as supplies, food, and a uniform. Many current students come from areas where poverty is the norm, and by offering an affordable education, the administration at Miguel Castillo Osuna hopes to give all students an equal opportunity to pursue a quality education.

Our mission: To provide an academically rigorous, Christian-based education to all students.
Our vision: That each student in our school becomes a young adult that faces intellectual challenges head-on, learns to lead and serve in their community, and explores and enjoys the learning process.
Our goal: To develop Christian leaders who refuse to participate in the culture of drugs and alcohol, and instead serve as positive role models in their communities, empowered and motivated by a Christian education.
Our ultimate hope is to develop students strong in their faith who have the ability to promote positive change in their community. Thank you to all our donors for making this hope a reality. It is only through your generosity that we are able to teach and minister to these students.
